The cottage has an open-plan layout, and can accommodate up to 2 guests. It contains a double bed, and a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin. The kitchenette is well-equipped for self-catering and includes a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, a microwave, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area features a 4-seater dining table and chairs. The cosy lounge area contains an open log fireplace.
If you are looking for a quiet weekend, somewhere to stay for a special occasion or a stop off point during a working trip, the cottage has it all, right in the centre of the delightful Midlands Meander. Guests are most welcome to wander around the pretty rose gardens, and stroll along the old carriageway trail which is lined with mature trees, clivias, azaleas and shade loving plants, and runs 350 m along the length of the farm.
There is a small swimming pool to enjoy and several benches in the garden to escape to a quiet moment of peace, with several garden rooms to explore; the Red Michealhouse Garden, The Memory garden and The Cricket garden all surrounded by mighty oaks, magnolias, camellias, azaleas, liquid ambers and an enormous London plane tree. The small pond is surrounded by plantings and willow trees, water lilies float lazily around and a pretty little bridge to get across to the far side, Monet style, while the rose gardens delight the senses.
A very warm welcome awaits you to share this little piece of England tucked into a quiet corner of Africa.
